Last Day of Summer

The girls and I went to the school open house. They met their teachers and we bought their school t-shirts. Jacob didn't want to go. He said he didn't want to see the school one day before he had to, and "Why Oh Why did they have to invent school?". But the Girls and I met his teacher Mr. Craig. He is the most requested teacher of the school and I can see why. Wow! He was so energetic and outgoing. He was so kind to talk to each girl and ask about their teachers. He had Jacob on the front row and he was very aware of Jacobs Auditory Processing Disability. He told he that he would take good care of Jacob. ( melted my heart.)
So I made dinner for a family in the ward then took the kids to Dairy Queen and drove up Santaquin Canyon. I can't believe I haven't taken my kids up there yet. It's Awesome.

April Fools

We spent the day watching conference. Loved it. Then I made the kids an awesome dinner. Cupcakes and kool aid. How awesome am I? They didn't think so when they realized the icing was mashed potatoes over meatloaf. The kool aid was jello. Then I topped it off with homemade brownies.

St. Patrick's Day

We had fun celebrating this year with lots of green. The girls and I had to convince Jacob so make a Leprechaun trap. Jacob was so concerned about the leprechaun's feeling. "How would you like to be captured for your money Mom". I had to promise to not be to greedy.

The kids loved dressing up for school today. I was up late gluing blue hair, but it was worth it.

Allie turned 6

Finally February 22nd came. Allie has waited and asked for this day a very long time. Seriously! We had a fun Princess Tea Party with her friends. She loved her presents and the party, eating dinner at Dairy Queen and her new easel, but she doesn't want to be six. Nope, she says she wants to stay five. Silly Girl! I told her that if I have to get older on my birthday than she does too.

Jacob received his Bear

Last night Justin conducted the Blue and Gold. He did a great job. The best part was that he presented jacob with his Bear award and one gold and three silver arrow points. Jacob worked hard and I'm proud of him. It was a fun night!
